Holding Corporations Accountable

I believe that when corporations profit from our communities, they have a responsibility to the people who live and work here. That means paying workers fairly, protecting consumers, following environmental laws, and taking responsibility when their decisions cause harm.

Unfortunately, too often, powerful corporations use their money and influence to avoid accountability while ordinary Coloradans are left paying the price.

I've never been afraid to take on powerful special interests, whether it's billion-dollar rideshare companies fighting basic safety protections, insurance companies standing between injured workers and medical care, or corporate polluters putting our health at risk. I've passed legislation to protect workers, strengthen consumer protections, and hold corporations accountable for their impact on our communities.

I don't believe corporations should get to write the rules, break the rules, and then leave the rest of us to deal with the consequences.

As your representative, you can count on me to:

  • Put People Before Corporate Profits: I'll fight to make sure our laws protect Colorado families, workers, and communities, not just corporate bottom lines.

  • Hold Corporations Accountable: I'll push for meaningful enforcement and consequences when companies violate the law or put people at risk.

  • Protect Workers' Rights: I'll stand up for fair wages, safe working conditions, access to healthcare, and workers' right to organize.

  • Take on Corporate Polluters: I'll fight for stronger environmental protections and make sure companies are held responsible for the pollution they create.

  • Protect Consumers: I'll work to prevent deceptive business practices, strengthen consumer protections, and make sure Coloradans have meaningful recourse when companies cause harm.

  • Challenge Corporate Influence: I'll stand up to special interests that use their money and political power to weaken protections for workers and consumers.

  • Fight for Affordability: I'll challenge unfair practices that drive up the cost of energy, healthcare, housing, and other necessities for Colorado families.
